The head coach of the national team has invited five professional players for the game against Algeria this weekend in Monrovia.

Coach Antoine Hey has placed trust in the five after he expressed disappointment over the players’ commitment to country in Gambia.

Coach Hey has placed trust in five players including veteran midfielder Oliver Makor of Greek club Ionikos, Dioh Williams of AGF Aarhus of Denmark and Theo Weeks of Ankaraspor of Turkey.

Solomon Grimes of Greek second division outfit Kalamata and Ben Teekloh of Farul Constanta of Romania completes the line up of what is an entirely European based contingent.

Liberia plays Algeria this Saturday in what is a pure academic encounter as a win will in no way help the country.

The national team could however reap some benefits from the match as a result of a TV right for the game.

A French based company is reportedly splashing out 55 thousand dollars to broadcast the game live.
