I will like to see him play a major role in this game.......I do not believe he can play 90+ minutes at this stage in his career.....so the coach will have to determine if he needs him to start or come off the bench.....what are your thoughts?

Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
I say he can play 90 min at a high level..He is in way better shape then the young guys..
He is not as old as u think Bro..he and makor are the same..
He just started playing real young..I think he was 16 or 17 when he won MVP in the LFa league

I think the reason kevin is not playing as much is because the coach has been using a 4-3-3 line-up....unlike the 4-4-2 position where u can afford to have a small and skill-full guy in the middle who does not have the greatest speed but can hold his own....in the 4-3-3 you need above average height interior midfielders with a combo of speed, strappiness, skill ..and kevin does not fit the bill. That is the coaches delema........very talented guy who don't really fit the system.

Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
speed?...you do not know kelvin ..His speed is not what you think..During Weah time..He was the fastest on the team..that team have Chris Wreh that played for Arsenal because he had speed...
One of the reasons we are not scoring is because we lack creavity in the midfield.
The two midfield mestro for Liberia and not geting on the field. Both Kelvin and Dulee...
This coach has a system but it does not suit our style

kelvin speed on the field.
I want to comment on the issue of kelvin, kelvin is a very skillful player who when he get on the field it will make a very big different in our midfield. if you can record the game against Rwanda in monrovia he play a very good game that resulted to the 3-2 victory. and since his absent from the field lone star have not been able to win ang goog game. so what can we lone star fans forget about this guy been old and focus on the important roled he play on the team. we maid think that the new coach is making the right decision but i personaly think he missing the right person on the field. if you guys really watch lone star games you will notic that the middle is not working hard for the forward to produce a goal.

Speed?? U said kevin was the fastest on the team during Weah time…….do you know how long it's been? Football has changed since then…secondly is said the system calls for "above average height interior midfielders with a combo of speed, strappiness, skill. Ok if he has the speed that you mentioned what about the rest?? Secondly did you hear the coach interview on Star radio?? When specificallly asked why is kevin not playing he said there are other players who are stronger then him…….thus the scrappiness. I do belive Kevin can and should play…however he has to play when the game momentum suit him…..
With regards to Dulee…and I know that's another issue…...

Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
The best Holding mid in the World in My opinion is Makale(sp)..He and Kelvin about the same height
One of the best to ever play the Mid was Zdaine of France..Not tall...
Show me one midfielder better then Makale ..It is not about height in the middle of the park..It is skill...
We lacking buildup in the attack..We score 3 goals..2 from Set peice and one because of the talants of Grandpa to hold the ball and draw defenders
He need the Midfield to create and win the balls..
This coach says he is an attacking coach..then whle he not scoring?
NO PLAY MAKERS

Full Name | Claude Makelele |
Birth Date | February 18, 1973 |
Birth Place | France |
Height | 5' 7" (1.70m) Arguably the best defensive midfielder of the last decade, Makalele may be short of stature, yet he is a born ball-winner and early warning system for a brain. |
Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
Football-Like man sports is a game of opportunity, momentum and you approach each game with a plan and make adjustment as you deem. The current problem scoring funk is due to the inablility of the strikers to convert….thus the need to insert Granpa and Dioh in the line up. Without call the player name….he missed lot of more then possible chances……if converted we would have been in the winner circle right now. So do not blame the mid fielders. I would love to see kevin especially Dulee who is in my opinion is peaking at this point in his career plying the mid-field. Makalela (sp) is to 2 holding mid fielders in the game right now…..however, depending on the formation chelsea do not feature him………I wonder why? Read the literature on 4-3-3 (especially defensive assignment and roles).
My take the team that field against Senegal at SKD was solid….need minor changes…..Gebro and Grandpa and dulee in the first 11. Depending on the flow bring Kevin in to regulate things.

Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
That's the piont i have been making..... i promise you guys..., if this coach don't put the best and right players we have in their rightful positions, we that love this team... the lone star will just be having another disappoiting day tomorrow when the scores come in. i will call his name, Laffor has played three good games and is yet to produce coach,He has missed all of our chances. infact, he is a midfielder!... yet Francis Doe is still on the beach. one of the best skillful and productive attackers we got.. this coach is killing me with his attacting plans that is not producing or working. I just hope we can come out of that game with something good like a win, if not,.. lets just wait for 2012 guys. May God bless the Lone Star.....

Re: Projected Line up: Senegal vs Liberia
I heard why Kelvin Sebwe did not play against Senegal.
Coach Hey said on Star Radio that Kelvin was excluded because the Senegalese players are tall and very physically strong. Possibly trying to say that Sebwe couldn't cope with them. But I remember seeing Zah Krangar (another short player) entering the game, and he did well. Maybe cause he got speed, Kelvin is older and therefore slower. Dunno, but I would like to see him in the starting line-up, we need another experienced player like Makor.
