France Based Liberian Desires Lone Star Call
A Liberian born offensive midfielder based in France has expressed his desire to play for the National Lone Star of Liberia in the last round of the 2010 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifiers.
According to information released in Monrovia, player Alseny Keita, alias ‘Ochacha’ grew up in Guinea and however plays for French Division League One outfit ‘US Senart Moissy.’
Ochacha disclosed that he would like to come to Liberia to join his fellow Liberian players after several years of experience in the Diaspora.
There are reports that midfielder Keita may likely be drifted to the Guinea National Team, because football authorities in that neighboring West African country are working out all modalities to have him feature in their 2010 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifiers, beginning next month.
While in Guinea, the Liberian born midfielder played for first Division Club H.A.C. Horaya from 1998 to 2001.
Midfielder Keita also played in Morocco, and Swaziland before joining the French League.
The Liberian midfielder however claimed that his first option is to wear the Liberian outfit.

I think it's a great deal that he desires a Lone Star call. They could act quickly and allow him bring his experience to the Lone Star .... at least he's still young.
The Sylli Nationale (Guinea) are a better sign with foreseeable progress. The Lone Star are not. 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for FREE?'
